Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

The first day begins with the cultural tour program of Tbilisi.

Tbilisi - is an ancient capital of Georgia, sunny and beautiful. It was founded in 5th century AD by the Georgian King Vakhtang Gorgasali. Nowadays Tbilisi is the main industrial, cultural and social center of Georgia. During its existence it was invaded and restored more then 40 times. Image of old Tbilisi is like no other city in the world. Tbilisi possess a special atmosphere. Tourists walk in Tbilisi with groups or individually. In the street you can see exhibitions of paintings as well as observe souvenirs made by handymen. There always teaming life: bars, pubs, nightclubs, live music, wine bars, billiard halls, casinos and music till the morning.

Old Tbilisi and Sulfur Baths - Foundation of Tbilisi is related to Tbilisi sulphure baths. According to a legend, King Vakhtang Gorgasali discovered these sulphure baths while hunting. So the name Tbilisi derives from Georgian word "Tbili", meaning warm.

Narikhala fortress - Is built in the 4th century. It was occupied by Iranians, North Caucasian, Byzantine and  Arab conquerors in various periods of time. Nowadays Church of St. Nikoloz built in 13th century, is located within the castle.

Metekhi Church - It was built in 5th century when Vakhtang Gorgasali was the king of Kartli. You can see breathtaking wiev from Old Tbilisi.

Trinity Church -is the biggest cathedral not only in Georgia, but also in a whole Caucasus region. The height of cathedral is 100 meters. There are located 12 other churches inside the church. Great ecclesiastical relics are kept there. Among them is a unique manuscript of the Gospel written during 1984-2004.

Day 2: Tbilisi - Kakheti. The first part of the team building

Drive to the eastern part of Georgia - Kakheti.

 

Signagi - is a small town of Kakheti. In 2007 began reconstruction of the city which turned into a city called “image of Georgian tourism”. Now it is one of the visited places in Georgia. It was built in the second half of the XVIII century, During the reigning period of King Irakli II. Buildings are constructed in a southern Italian classicism mixed with Georgian elements. This castle is famous in Georgia as one of the largest castles in Georgia. The walls of the Signagi fortress is surrounded by an old part of the town and goes far beyond the city boundaries with a magnificent view of the Alazany Valley.

After visiting Sighnaghi, the first half of the day will be dedicated to a master class of cooking Georgian traditional dishes - Georgian bread, khinkali, khachapuri, churchkhela, fried barbecue - and the participants of the event will compete eachother in, who will  cook Georgian dishes better.

 

Over Here, during the dinner the first winners will be awarded.

In the winery during the dinner,  guests will taste the famous Georgian white and red types of wine.

 

After lunch, begins the second part of the event.

 

"Numisi" -  Step in the world of the oldest XVI century Numisi wine cellar located in the small village of Velistsikhe, Kakheti region. The cellar is built in ancient classical architecture with white river stones and bricks. The cellar introduces excellent arched wine storage, with old limestone wine presser (Satsnakheli) & 33 clay pitchers (Qvevi) sunk underneath the ground. Take a glance at the large collection of copper, glass, pottery, and timber vessels (mostly used for wine drinking), as well as the other items like woman jewelry, necklaces, rings, XVIII century wine copper kitchen utensils, old carpets and furniture. A very unique old French “Marmonies” firm grape presser machine, the old German wine allocator pump & lots of other old staff. In the yard of the wine cellar the old wooden grain storage “Begeli”, Kakhetian “Shoti”
bread baking clay-made “Tone” are placed.

 

Cellar personnel will exhibit various ancient artifacts and tourists will have to guess what they were used for at those times. After the competition, the second competition winners  will be awarded.

In the evening you will taste dinner with Georgian national dishes and Georgian alcoholic beverages (wine-red, white, chacha and Georgian congnac)

 

After dinner, return to Tbilisi and overnight at the hotel

Day 3: The second part of team building- Abduction of the bridal couple and the Georgian wedding in the restaurant

After breakfast, the group will travel to the house of marriage, where our instructor will explain the task to  the participants.

The teambuilding participants witness the groom and bride kidnapped from the yard of the wedding house, who will be hidden in a safe house.

Our instructor explains the task to the participants and they have to use different tips to find hidden newly-married couple.

After the bride and groom will be found, all of them will go to a restaurant where the Georgian wedding will be  dramatized.

Supra will be lead by the Georgian toastmaster. Also, the wedding will be brightened by professional ensemble of Georgian national dances and songs.

During the wedding, in a festive atmosphere the winners  of the second part of team building will be awarded

Day 4: Tour of Mtskheta

Mtskheta- a beautiful and a small town is considered as a centre of Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church.

Svetitskhoveli- Cathedral - First church was built in 4th century. Afterwards during the centuries it became the largest and the most impressive church of Georgia. Christ's mantle is buried here, which was brought here from Jerusalem. The church is in the UNESCO world heritage sites.

Holy Cross Monastery – Jvari Monastery - is a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century. There are picturesque views of Tbilisi and Mtskheta from monastery territory. Nowadays Jvari monastery is an active church and monks live there.
